BEULAH  EVANGELICAL  CHURCH

Beulah Evangelical church was located in the southeast 1/4 of section 4,  Jones Township. The church was built in 1891 and 1892 by carpenter, Robert Rusk, and many of the willing neighbors.   When the church was first built, the heavy bell caused the church to vibrate when the bell was rung.   Money was raised and a new vestibule and belfry was added to the south end of the church. The church was sold in 1973 and torn down.
