DODGE CENTER METHODIST CHURCH

In September, 1892 Joseph and Mahala Thompson, deeded 2 acres in the southwest corner of section 10, Dodge Township to the trustees of the Methodist Church for the purposes of building a church and cemetery.   Dodge Center Methodist Church was erected that fall at a cost of $1500.   It only stood a few years before burning to the ground.   It was rebuilt in 1902.   In 1920 a basement was put underneath the church and many improvements made.
