MONETTE BRETHERN 

Very little information was found for the United Brethren  Church at Monette. The earliest record I could find was 1909 newspaper clipping where the minister bought seating for the church. I believe this is probably about the time the church was built. From newspaper clippings it was determined that services were held at least until 1937 although it could’ve been later. There were neighborhood auctions in 1944 and 1952, which gave locations of the farms in miles from Monette Church.
