LINCOLN CHAPEL
The Lincoln Chapel United Brethren Church was located in the south east 1/4 of section 3,  Lincoln Township.  The church was built in 1889 but was struck by lightening a few years later, burned and was rebuilt in 1903.   It burned a second time on Sunday January 9, 1950.  It was decided not to rebuild the church but the ladies aid society did continue on until at least 1965.  Most of the congregation transferred to Jerusalem, Methodist church.
