We like to refer to the green space in the center of our Village as the Village Commons. From this central space, all the buildings in the village are visible. The time capsule is located here as well as the fire pit that we use for campfire cooking demonstrations on the 4th of July. The tall sign post on the Village Commons lists all of the abandoned towns and post offices that were in Union County, as well as all the towns that presently exist.
