CUMBERLAND JUNCTION

Cumberland Junction was not a town, but rather a location where the main branch and north branch of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railroads met in Northeast Creston.

The north branch of the C .B. & Q.  ran from Creston to Cumberland. The name shows up on railroad related maps of the time.
