PRAIRIE STAR CHURCH

Prairie star Church was organized in May 1888 and the church was built in 1892.  The church building is in Adams County just across the county line from the southwest corner of section section 30 of Platt Township.  Prairie Star soon joined with the Platte Center Presbyterian Church to share a minister and build a new personage in Kent.  The church closed in 1966.
