Zoar was located in the northeast corner of the southeast 1/4 of section 36 of Lincoln Township. The church was built around 1900 on the Charlie Harvey farm. The church had beautiful stained glass windows and large Sunday school rooms on each side of the sanctuary. The church building in contents were sold at auction in November 1922. The church was torn down, and part of the lumber went to build a house in Afton.
